On June 6, 2019, Amrita Vidya Aarambha was organized for the children of Amrita Nursery. All the parents were invited for the programme which was held in Amrita Sadan Hall.
The Principal addressed the parents, speaking about how to inculcate good values in their children and prepare them to be good citizens of our nation. She said that this is the best stage when they can be moulded to any shape. She also requested parents to spend quality time with their children and to try to understand their minds as they are their children’s first Guru. Next, Principal Amma guided the parents to perform Vidya Aarambha by writing “Om Hari Shri Ganapataye Namah” on the Akshata plate.
All the parents were delighted to be part of the Vidyarambha ceremony. The programme concluded with distribution of Prasadam to the children and parents.
