On July 5th, teachers and students of Amrita Nursery, Sadashivgad celebrated Green Day with great enthusiasm. The children as well as their teachers came to school dressed in green attire, and the classrooms were decorated beautifully with different green coloured items. The children tried to identify green things like green fruits, vegetables, leaves, trees, etc. Activities related to the colour green were also organized for the children. The students also brought green snacks, fruits and other eatables in their tiffin. All the children enjoyed themselves and were very happy to celebrate Green Day.
